Video Game Buy-backs

To sell your used games, systems, accessories and DVDs to Game Dude, please contact us at (818) 764-2442 or drop by our store at 12104 Sherman Way in North Hollywood. We buy back games, systems, accessories and DVDs from 11AM to 6:30PM 7 days a week.

If you are selling merchandise through the mail, you must call us first to obtain an authorization number. Merchandise received through the mail without an authorization number will be purchased at current "book value".

Please read the basic guidelines below before bringing in merchandise to sell:

1. Game Dude requires that all merchandise must be in good condition before we will purchase it. Boxes, instructions, cartridges and CDs may not be dirty, damaged, or have stickers/writing on them.

2. CDs and DVDs must be free of scratches in order to get the full buy-back price. Lightly scratched discs will be purchased at a discount of 30% to 70% off of our normal buy-back price. Discs that are severely scratched may be purchased at an even lower price or we may refuse them.

3. Games that are missing the original boxes, instructions, maps, or any other items that originally came with the game will be purchased for less than normal buy-back prices. There are also many games we do not buy back without instructions! Please see the individual price sheets for details.

4. We are unable to accept multiple copies of the same item from the general public. We are also unable to accept new (sealed) merchandise from the public.

5. All items presented to us for sale will be examined and/or tested prior to purchase. If you are selling a large amount of games or DVDs, or more than one video game system, please allow a reasonable amount of time for us to test your items and process your payout. Wait times will be longer on weekends or any time our store is busy.
